PROJECTS
OUR WORK
Masjid Razia Begum
In recognition of the impact his mother Razia Begum had on him, Mirza Family constructed a mosque as Sadaqa Jariah for his mother in Malam Jabba.Malam Jabba is a hill station in the Swat Valley, Khyber Pakhtunwala, Pakistan known for its scenic beauty and ski resort. During 2008, the resort was destroyed by Taliban militants in June’ 2008 during the war in Northwest Pakistan where the Taliban held the Swat valley. A large portion of the resort was reduced to ashes, Including the hotel, several houses, and the chairlift. After the government restored control in the area the Govt awarded the rebuilding to a private company which restored the hotel, ski resort and other facilities and during a visit it was noted that there was no mosque for the villagers nearby and villagers were travelling to a nearby village for their prayers. On selecting a site in the village “Masjid Razia Begum” was constructed providing a sacred space for worship and creating cultural and spiritual values. The mosque provides space for 200 people for worship as well as an Islamic school for children of the village.
Masjid Sanobar
In recognition to his wife Sonia (Sanobar Khatoon), Mirza Family foundation constructed a mosque “Masjid Sanobar" as Sadqa Jariah in Pano Dheri village in Mansehra. Pano Dheri is a village in Mansehra district in the Hazara division in Northern Pakistan. There was an existing mosque which was in a very bad shape. Mirza foundation undertook the reconstruction of a brand-new mosque of a dilapidated mosque, which had fallen into despair and faced the need for demolition (shaheed). With a commitment to preserving this sacred space, the foundation initiated the construction of a new mosque, ensuring its revival as a vibrant center for community worship and connection. The mosque caters for 400 plus worshippers and in addition a 2-bedroom house was also constructed for the Imam and Islamic center of education for children of the village.

Water Well Projects - Egypt
The virtuous Friendship Foundation of Egypt in collaboration with Mirza Family Foundation have constructed this new Water Purification Station in Al-Bouwiti Oasia, Al Bahraia Oasis.Bahraia Oasis is a depression and a naturally rich oasis in the Western Desert of Egypt. It is approximately 370 km away from Cairo. The station has twofold outlet that serves inside the school as well as the outside community. Two water tanks filed from the Oasis unpurified water with storage capacity of 3 cubic meters each (i.e. total of 6 cubic meters or 6000 liters). 1.5 hp pump, water pipes, and chlorine tank. The water runs into three filters. The first purifies the water to remove impurities, bad smells, and other contaminants. The second filter also purifies the water from carbon, bacteria and germs that might have passed through from the first filter. The third filter removes iron particles which unfortunately is a main constituent of Oasis water. Then water passes through two filter housing 25 micron which guarantees further cleanness of water before going into the horizontal stainless-steel filter. There are also two large water coolers one serving inside the elementary school and the other outside on the street.
